Over the years, I've had 3 or 4 cassette callers. A couple of months ago, I bought a used FoxPro digital call from a guy. It's pre loaded with 30 or so? sounds. Honestly, for around here I like the grey fox pup sound best. For fox. And I like the rodent squeal for bobcats. Neither are loaded on this new machine. They can be loaded, for about $2 each, I think. Tell me what you like best. I also use my mouth calls, but it's nice to just push the button and get ready to shoot.

Lots of great e sounds out there, some are free for the taking online, FP has some great coyote vocals used during mating season and beyond. Lots of distress sounds as well, raspy jacks, wood peckers, turkey sounds, I tend to shy away from the cottontail blues in many areas because it has been over used. Any distress sound that has a different tone and pitch seems to work well in areas of calling pressure.

Well, I ordered a 16 pack of sounds. for $25. I did get some odd ball sounds, 2 fawn sounds, turkey, and a couple of high pitched squeaks. They all sound pretty good.
We got a pile of snow on the ground now, enough to hole up everything. I figure as soon as it settles down or crusts over good, the critters ought to be hungry. It's a dry fluffy snow, -3 degrees now, it might stick around a while. But I've got all my stuff ready.

My 11 year old son with his called in coyote taken at 25 ft. Hornady heavy magnum coyote loads work great! Cold day for Missouri was 0 degrees at the time. Again the beauty of an e caller is place it so you can dictait where those coyotes approach from.

Slight rub but not bad. Female coyote, the 9th one taken off this property first called one rest in traps.
