OMG, did you hear Donald's latest absurd lie? "You know, the President is thinking about signing an executive order where he wants to take your guns away. You hear about this? Not gonna happen. That won't happen. But that's a tough one, I think that's a tough one for him to do," Trump told the crowd. "There's plenty of executive orders being signed, you know that. And we can't let that go on." www.cnn.com/2015/10/19/politics/donald-trump-guns-obama-south-carolina/That tyrant Obama is about to send the men in black to seize your guns! But don't worry--the Donald is here to stop them! Why aren't the rest of you Republicans embarrassed enough to do something about this demagogue? Isn't there a rational majority left in that party? And Carson is just as bad- his sense of history is more myth than fact- yet the 2 have over 50% of the probable rep voters

The parties don't care how bad "their guy" is as long as the guy is "their" guy. Time to move away from the traditional two party approach and find some support for Centrist governance. It has to be done with and by voters as the money trails are all to the existing parties and their candidates. When campaign rhetoric is about raising monies instead of establishing policies and giving direction it changes the nature of the campaigns and ultimately the type of government(s) we have.

The trouble is that a certain amount of gullible people will believe absurd statements like that :-( Hopefully enough to vote for Trump to be their candidate.
I'd like to see him or Carson in a one on one debate on real issues with Hillary :-)

I take it back. Trump is not Palin.
Palin doesn't hallucinate "thousands and thousands" of American Muslims cheering 9/11.
Seriously, the man needs electro-shock therapy or something.

Okay, so now Donald Duck--I mean, Trump--wants to ban all Muslims from entering the US. What's wrong with this picture?
On another trapping forum, Trump is leading in the poll. The GOP is committing suicide.

I think the support for Trump just shows how frustrated people are with the current political system more so then it reflects how people feel about Trump. At least that's what I hope.

I think that supporting a candidate that really has little experience and limited abilities for many of the tasks that the job needs because one is upset with the current situation shows the shallowness of our political desire to make the needed changes in our society, economy and government as it is currently operated, be that federal and state.

Bryce funny many thought the same thing of Obama, little real world experience to run a country and really no business background or military insight as well. Yet the public voted him in for a second term. I think many millions feel this way.

One of my most concerns about Obama is his lack of experience in handling the task at hand in the job he has, yet it is the Conservatives that advocate limiting term limits thus experience and also want more business experience instead of political experience and the candidates they champion are those with very little political experience. To me that is a flawed and dangerous path to follow. Businesses can and do fold daily and many are able to escape without paying their bills and starting over. We allow them the freedom to negate on any and all promises if they so desire. That is not what I choose to support for my government be that federal, state or local. There needs to be a responsibility about being willing and able to clean up the mess instead of just throwing in the towel when it is in your best interest.

Trump demonstrates more than mere inexperience. He represents a danger to our Constitution.
His willingness to throw the Constitution out the window shows that he's against our very way of life.

Name a president who did not "stretch" the Constitution. I would be interested in viewing your informed list.

If the President had gone against the constitution in any legitimate way, do you really believe that given the hatred of him expressed by the Republicans in Congress and the Senate, they would have impeached him by now? It's all political rhetoric. How many of them have actually taught constitutional law like The President has??
Before anyone says that's not true:
"UC Law School statement: The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as "Senior Lecturer." From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School’s Senior Lecturers have high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined."
Unlike Trump, The President knows what he's doing!

I cannot even imagine the shape the country would be in if either GOP candidate would have been elected-
and the choices this year are even sillier from the GOP side
the GOP is very worried (in their own words) about loosing congress next election- wouldn't that be a hoot!
