Looking for some information on this breed. Has anyone used one on coyotes for both a trapline dog and for decoy work. Interested in endurance, drive, grit and how well they hold up in heat.
Thanks Brent

I got to be around one once. The blood line was so far removed from hunting and working it did very little besides bark. They are a neat looking dog might work as a decoy dog.But you can't judge on just one dog.

Brent go over to Big Game Hounds site and ask around there is a guy in Utah that breeds them and uses them for hunting.

The only thing with real good working dogs any more is you have to be in the circle. With the real deal patterdales the best dogs always stay in the circle and the so so dogs got sold to people out side the circle. The Irish terrier are neat looking dogs.

That is so true. Guys want their dogs to be well and to work. Hence selling them to people you know. i looked into buying an Irish a few years ago. All the breeders were NUTS. I think that they would have sold their left kidney with less complications. And they had zero hunting stock.
