We rarely get a coyote to come in past first light but this one decided to show up on the second setup of the morning. Luckily, she decided to cooperate and present a shot even with two panicked hunters flinging guns and cameras around. Enjoy...!

HQuite the difference in the quantity of snow from the first to the second field. Why is that? Ha, good question. Exposure to the wind and sun can make all the difference from one field to the next. Perhaps that is the difference.

Nice clean kill on that one! I still don't like the way that you're set up, for me, sitting on my butt on flat ground, that's just uncomfortable.
When I'm sitting, I like something to lean back on. Or I'd take a milk crate or bucket to sit on.

Or I'd take a milk crate or bucket to sit on. Believe it or not it really isn't all uncomfortable, we use these big padded thermal seats. I think they are called Therm-A-Seat.
