anyone ever work in a house with lathe and plaster walls and ceilings in the attic doing bat work and later when you are home call you and say a 12 by 5 ft section of the ceiling fell in and I did not step between the rafters thanks ps if so what happened thanks for input aldehyde

Never happened to me, DAMN thats gotta suck. But thats why all NWCOs should have insurance !! Good luck with the outcome .

yikes. I did some work on a house that was built in 1891 and while doing the clean out the guano buildup was large enough and moist enough to soak and rot through the lathe and plaster, that when I went to vacuum it up, a small 2x1ft section dropped into the room below. Its expected on older homes, Insurance is a must!!
