Doesn't change the fact that if he is the "OFFICIAL" NAFA spokesperson then he needs to be addressing this issue.

The guy Is a volunteer. Just call NAfA and ask, that's what Ron would have to do. I here you had a call from one of NAFAs agents today.

I had an "imitation" NAFA agent call me! "All your questions will be answered on Saturday." I'd like to know what happens on Thursday and Friday as well. I'm more worried about the beaver on Friday than I am the coons on Saturday.

Doesn't change the fact that if he is the "OFFICIAL" NAFA spokesperson then he needs to be addressing this issue. Well I'm back from my frustrating fishing trip. It can best be described as something like the fur market. largest rainbow we caught was only 2 1/2 pounds, but we had a couple of good fish fries anyway. Robert I am not THE official spokesman, I am however a NAFA spokesman. As to the catalogs being 10 days in advance, never have I seen that. The lotting letters become available once the information is scanned and entered into the system. Not sure if you have ever witnessed "getting ready for a sale" but it is as hectic as it gets. Long hours to finish the grading, even longer hours for the data input. At best they get finished the day before inspection. Yes it was a tough sale with lots of disappointment in fur prices, but perusing the posts over the past few months it is not a surprise. Even at the lower prices there are unsold goods which indicates to me just how bad the market is. Beav thank you for your comments. I do this for my love the industry and trappers. Regardless of the market conditions or state of the industry I will be posting useful information for trappers as tim

Ron, Three years ago they would have the data entered and we would be able to see our grades 10 days in advance of the sale. This year we down to nearly 48 hours prior to the sale.
Also, Why are the WFSC directors not listed on the NFA web site and their appropriate contact information?

So with no 8 pound rainbows that means you were not fishing the Glenboro reserve in Calgary. but those 2 pounders fit into the skillet much better. Ron; Too bad you could not have seen all the deleated postings and janked threads the past couple of months. Then you would have understood some built up flustrations of some people. Robert some catalogues were only posted 15 minutes before the sale this year, so some guys were wondering where their fur was. Frenchman on here ; is a director of the WFSC directors, and all members get mailed ballots for voting in alternate years.

I haven't got one recently and fully intend to call NAFA and tell them to keep the magazine and not deduct the money from my account! I can't spare another beaver (more than one beaver!) for a dang magazine!

I think it is probably a coyote that sold by private treaty before this auction started. I had a coyote in a lot with a 8xx,xxx lot number that doesn't coorespond to a lot # in the auction. I saw it show up on my current auction sales summary as sold a couple days before the rest of my lotting letter stuff showed up. I am guessing also that this different lot # may be the lot number it was in while in the private treaty catalog.
