Whoa!!!!
Now I see why the private messages are rolling in... my post was edited... I had no idea.
I really couldn't tell you exactly what I said but I'm certain it was in no way improper for a public forum. A few folks have mentioned a relationship between Edge & Coyote37 so perhaps I'm the odd man out? I have no clue... not real concerned about it either.
I do recall the point of my deleted post was to say that Coyote37 has an agenda.... an anti Martz agenda... and that his recent post here explain to me why he made previous comments. I wasn't pumping any product or boasting any successes; I wish I had copied it. I thought backing up posts was only necessary on Trapperman and the likes.
I visit this board because I respect the calling advice of QWagoner & Steve Craig... a lot can be learned from guys like that and it's great to see a site with such experienced moderators. I've met several folks involved in this website, including S.Gappa, S.Craig and Edge. I have no conflict with anyone here- but it appears this is not a board where one can express themselves openly.
PS: I respect your opinion and input too LB... so I'll continue to soak it up on Huntmasters.

Opinions are welcome,and JRB's post was deleted for 2 reasons;
A)It was outlandishly rude, and this is not the first time this has been an issue.
B)Members were basically calling BS to the post so I got rid of it.CT37 had nothing to do with it;but you could learn from his abilities to get his point across without being rude.
Consider this your final warning, and if you dont mind, please edit the crap out of your new post or it wil be gone too.
Just so we're clear:
Opinions;GOOD
Opinions *ON* opinions;BAD.
For instance, heres an opinion;Martz has made such a horrible reputation for himself among so many callers(re pissy attitude and quirky equipment) that(again, imo)he could at this time put out a mega sound multi mile caller for FREE and they wouldnt touch it.He claims his real money comes from the movie biz;he should stay there,I dont have 3 or 4 "takes" to get it done.

I have never met or talked to CT37,dont know his name or where he lives.......conspiracy theory shot in the ass....,LOL!
Actually we DID get in a pretty huge pissing match a couple years ago.......about shotguns or something?chit,I cant remember.Maybe it wasnt even him.
As for your post,I mentioned the why in a previous post;most PMs were calling BS to your statement of hunting yotes 4-16 hrs a day 6 or 7 days a week for eight months/year.They made posts calling you out,I deleted them as well.I dont care where how or why you hunt or how often;but that post and resulting posts were taking away from a fairly decent topic.

Edge, you do what you have to do. Understand, my comments were not a criticism of your actions. Just a general statement of opinion.
Based on a previous post by jr, that I DID read; I can assume he was pretty outspoken in defense of WT and Bill. Which leads me to believe that he has a financial interest of some kind, and why I felt that it might be helpful to mention that I do not.
Bill will never win any popularity contest, that's for sure, but I think he has a good product....and one that I would never buy, just because I disaprove of his behavior.
There are a couple things that will always start a ruckus on predator hunting/trapping boards, electronic callers, and anything about seventeen caliber.
Good hunting. LB

That sums it up for me,too.

LOL!! If I hunted coyotes that much I'd never have time to type about it! I do hunt a lot... but damn! Maybe you could repost my comment for us Edge- so we can see who is mistaken with the numbers? Those who know me; know I hunt a lot... and as you could've guessed I'm typing this in camo as I've been out this evening. No shot BTW.
I don't know anything about the friendship between the two of you (edge/37) but it has been mentioned by multiple sources. Recently, your (edge) distaste for WT and Bill has been mentioned as well... which again may explain your editing practices. For the third time, I don't care what your reason was... I'm over it. If you see something that needs edited at this point- please go ahead and do it for me. I'm copying it all now for future reference.
WT and Bill have always started fires on these boards, it still amazes me. The only way they can get uglier is to get Bill here himself... then it'd get out of hand! LOL!
Leonard, if I'm reading it correctly... it appears you believe I have some sort of financial interest in Wildlife Technologies? I can tell you with all honesty that I do not, and have never recieved one penny... or one product... from Bill or WT or anyone else in the predator hunting industry. I make my money off video production and guiding hunts... not products or companies. I'm always on the same side of these arguments because I believe in the product. Bill couldn't pay me enough to take his punches on these websites.
I enjoy these lively discussions as they generally involve a handful of people that ignore a great product just to project their hate for Bill Martz *AND* others who ignore his attitude because of their faith in the product. There is that third group who remain silent... and many of them are carrying WT's or at least WT sounds into the field.

For some reason all of my post isn't showing up... I wanted to add that the 17Rem is another hot button topic that always has it's blazes. I have my opinion but don't read them too often... I see those threads growing to 10-15 pages in length on some sites. It's great to have topics like this- it keeps the sites going in the offseason.

You stated you hunted 4-16 hrs per day,6-7 days per week,8 months of the year.I am not even remotely mistaken.
If indeed you are NOW stating that you "made a mistake"with those numbers, that is OK,but they are in fact exactly as you posted them.Rescinding is wise as I mentioned because everyone said you were FOS.
**I don't know anything about the friendship between the two of you (edge/37) but it has been mentioned by multiple sources. Recently, your (edge) distaste for WT and Bill has been mentioned as well... which again may explain your editing practices. **
My dislike for Bill is widely known, hiding it would be pointless,if in fact you are accusing me for editing by personal bias, you may have an exhaust leak in your car.
I know of only one self prefessed Pro Caller who is rabidly favorable to the WT;and he is a joke.

Well your like/dislike for Bill or anything else is news to me... I don't follow your post so I'm not accusing you of hiding anything. I don't know you well enough to accuse anything, just rolling with the punches here.
I'll clarify those numbers as you have posted them. I do all of those things; independently. I hunt during 8 months of the year. I do hunt several 7 day weeks and some 18 hour days do occur. I do not carry that pattern consistantly throughout the year, of course. Sorry if that seems to be backpeddling but realistically I don't think anyone would claim those numbers. Coyotes don't hunt that much. Much of my hunting it outside the realm of predators, as that's where the money is in filming and where my strongest successes come from. No pro here, just paid.... weekly... very weakly.

EDGE SAID... "I am reading Hoofbeats Of a Wolfer and you are #$%@ing up my serenity." Edge- That has got to be the best coyote trapping book ever written. I re- read parts of it myself occasionally for entertainment and enlightenment. Glad I'm not the only one. Sure wish the pictures were better.

Hold off , might be wrong but I thibk they may have overpriced a bit with the economy undecided , and the deep discoubts of the year before may be back. Heard Chevy was offering employee pricing again. Man , if they offer them $10,000 discounts and rebates on the 08 superduties , I am there. They are around $48,000 here right now. $38,000 and I will bite and quick. Checked out the new Tundras and had to laugh at their towing and load capacities.ALL HYPE

Edge, Like Jim, I am holding off as well for a while to get the GM Family discount. Then it will be back to Kellogg Id. for another Cheavy Diesel. My 05 bought in Dec of 04 ,I saved $10,000.00 over any price offered around here, by buying wholesale in Kellogg Id. Flew into Spokane, they sent a car to pick me up at the Airport, signed the papers, and was headed south for home, in under and hour at the dealership. Bought the Wife's Tahoe the same way in 05. Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg..........only way to go as far as I am concerned.
