Bleach is not a degreaser, it has bactericidal properties that are used for disinfecting and sterilizing. It should never be used in water temp of 78 degrees or higher. Thus that is why we A, use cold water to wash whites with bleach B, you don't want to ruin a good white collared shirt impregnating the stain. I guess that is why I wear collared shirts doing my chores, I have ruined tons of em.
Try a cup of household laundry detergent to 4 gals of water.
