Bob It Is true you can't teach a OLD dog new tricks I can get out over 150 dry land sets with 160s In one short day running a road line. Try that off the road with dirt holes or what ever and your not going to get It done. Road trapping shines then when you have pillaged the road ways It's Into the creeks. Ate fresh sheep meat last night Man that stuff rocks. But there's no way I'm ever going to shot one. I went In about half way with the ATV and a small trailer and It was on the edge getting that far. The boys had hiked down off the mountian with there gear and the sheep but with a full load on the ATV I had to walk 4 miles back out to the trail head. But It was some pretty country.

Seen Gregerson do a demo at 1979 NTA convention with the woven wire shaped like a covered wagon. He used snares of course. Coalking

yes- wire covers work, insofar as reg 220s work. Made wire cages for 220s 25 years ago.

I have also caught quite a few mink in 220's as well as coons in the set described.I really like the set and the simplicity and speed does not get much better.I have always set with the trigger on top and still catch alot of mink.Steve Craig reccomended that I read a certain coon trapping book a few times that I already had and I would have a real good idea of the set mentioned.I had already been useing the set I had found just out of neccesity.I don't think there is a need for another "50 to100 coon a day video"as the set has already been very well covered in a few videos and book. The latest video I saw was a 2 video set that covered that type of trapping very well.

Steve Craig,Have you found a snare lock and way of setting snares that will consistantly kill coon without alot of fur damage ?
