Guys I have said this before those Katch-all poles are real nice I got mine for free.
Call your local animal shelter and ask if they have any old used ones. Some will ask for a small donation some will just give them away.
You WILL have to change the cable because they will all be broken. I changed the cable for like $27 bucks back then.
It's worth a shot. If it works you have a nice pole if not what are you out?

I used the old hog catcher for years, but I switched to the 4' catch all, best money I ever spent, grabbed a ADC coon out of a soffit with it this year, paid for it in a few minutes. Top quality and if you have any problems with it the company stands behind it, but if you've never used one I could see how you wouldn't understand....B...

got a catch all from MTP today via UPS, haven't studied it to close, been busy messin w/ beaver hides, but at a quick check - out, loop seemed kinda saggy and limber,
it won't be long and i'll know how she runs!
