The only place they really shine for me is up high out of the water. I use my foot holds at the water level, I need every rat, mink, otter and beaver as well as the coon.
The Grizz Getters work good up on the high bank trails and keep you in operation during high water (if in a state that doesn't allow dry land conibears).

Do they do any damage to the feral cats. I have a farmer wanting me to trap coons around his farm this fall but he has a dog and alot of cats.

Not immediately visible damage but after a couple of days I would imagine damage could become evident.
Peanut butter and fruit jellys will help you avoid some of the cats. Avoid the marshmellows if trying to not catch cats.

yes 17, I emailed Mr. Duke a week or 2 ago and he hopes to have them out sometime early, early fall, hopefully by NTA. He also stated they should be much much cheaper than lil griz.

my experience at never catching a cat in places where a lot of cats were present, although I do know some have taken cats, would make me worry aobtu cats not at all. If the farmer can't live with a very occasional cat if at all, then he doesn't have problem....
