It's not a new idea John.LOL It's been beat around for a while. Truth is, it works like a charm in mild weather, but if it gets to cold the darn glue strips harden up like a rock and the pack rats and mice walk right over it. Still a work in progress. LOL

ok i'm sure this isn't a new thing but i use sardines i prob go overboard but i put one can per bucket and i make a hole into the top of the bucket just small enough a wire can go through it and put a hook on one end and run it through the bucket and then the pull top on the can just open it up a little ways and then suck it up to the inside of the bucket and bend it into a 90 it's worked so far the mice haven't made off with everything at least lol i was also wondering about wiring a soup can to the top of the bucket or one of them little cans of beany weannies so you could still stack them up to a couple of inches

i caught quite a few coons at my yote sets this year the problem is is that my yote traps are to tough for coons or to strong i should say or the coons fight the trap to much and snap there leg and by the time i get there they are about gone but yet i need that tough of a trap for badgers and yotes and i'm also thinking about buying five dozen or more 220's and buckets so i'm trying to find out a good deal for them

if you are buying traps specifically- thne why not buy a bunch of 1.5s and hit the coon along side your yotes?
thats what I do.
