Natural bait to use in winter

Birds really like it here also. A couple of years ago I threw out two coon carcaces on a well packed snow machine trail.Was not long before the ravens showed up. a good lot of them. Soon came the canines likely checking out what all the ruckus was about.Served its purpose in that case.
This was in an open field where before i had placed the bait in cover.Funny thing is that the coyotes cleaned up every bit of that coon in no time

I always figured skunk would make a good winter bait. I have tried horse meat and that worked well. But those horse lovers think your asking for a part of their kid and really get upset LOl
My buddy had a horse that had to be put down I only asked for a hind quarter LOl And I was very discreet about It.
