About 25 degrees in this picture. Staying warm isnt a problem for me until it gets below -15 or so even then it isnt too bad as long as I'm working. Worst is when I dead head back at the end of the day on the sled. I like to wear a good heavy pair of fleece wader pants underneath and a good pair of under armor long johns. They arent as durable as neoprene until you get into the really high end ones. I like em. Wear them for about 2-3 months a year, go through one pair a year.

I think that we over thing a lot of things on trapping I think anyone can catch mink or whatever in large numbers as long as there a good population and use good simple set.
There’s a lot of smoke and mirrors in the trapping industry because if you just state facts you won’t have a big sales in what you’re trying to pedal so you juice it up to make it sound good even thou it’s bullshit
Bud Hall (mr. mink) used to come though my area and there was no magic in his sets what he used was a pocket with fish for bait. But if you talk to him smoke and mirrors came out. Not to knock him down I’m just stating facts on what I seen and heard first hand.
He caught 100 mink the first week of season- How did he do it? He put out a shitload of sets on top of mink -Plain and simple-
