two things, we have coyotes here twice the size of the western ones, some bigger than twice. mini wolves of sorts.. and #2, I`ve no doubt how the rural folks feel. but tell that to the trappers in colorado and arizona and ca, washington etc. and now indiana.

I ought know better than argue with you Bob but I just can't help myself LOL.
The states of Co Wa and Ca all have an urban population that far exceeds the rural population. I suspect thats true in Az as well with the rapid growth of Phoenix. Maybe those big eastern yotes will do more for coyote trapping in In than any advocacy group. Big or small coyotes are good breeders and I can't imagine that there won't be problems.

that`s my point danny, there will be problems, huge ones, just like with the wolves in the west. they KNOW that, but they iced us anyway, and it was our own dnr that did it. in washington and colorado their dnr didn`t activly ice them like they did here, but they sure refused to lift a finger. it`s scary when your own dnr buddies up with hsus and they both gang up on you. we are the new massachussets here ion indiana now. and we fought it too, a good strong co-alition. but when you are fighting your own dnr and they are the judge and jury too, well, you know.

I'm a believer in picking battles, or at least the timing of them, but we are in a situations with the AR where if we take any step back, they will overrun our rights into the ground. Every court ruling sets a precedence for future ruling. It won't stop with wolves and it won't stop with wildlife. As the ARs abuse the court system to force their ideologies on others, so will the environmentalists. The more they win, the more frenzied they will get, the more money they will raise, the more issues they will take on.
