Here's how T-man. Cut a triangular piece of plywood and nail it on the top of the float at the apex of the V. make it big enough to fill gap between trap and apex of the V. Put your mud and castor on this so the beaver has to swim through the 330 to get to it.

I'm getting a handle on the design now! I really think they would help me out on the river. I'm only a half mile from a hydroelectric dam, so my water levels fluctuate alot......especially in spring. I got really sick of moving my 330's up and down, and like I said there is actually still 1 in there I haven't found yet. Just wondering if anyone uses them much? Good, bad, otherwise? Any pics?

No pics T-Bar,.........mine worked good I used it under a bridge where I couldn't trespass to make the sets I would have liked to. I feel I could do much better setting traps where I wanted to, but I was driving by so I went with the float. Try a couple before you make too many. It's a lot of crap to haul around.
