on a number three coilspring trap how big do you cut the shingle? i was thinking 4x4 is this right ?

Mine are 4 3/4 long by 3 3/4 wide. These fit the montana #3 traps.

I use a 3.5 inch shingle but it doesn't have to be that big.
That's as big as a garbage can lid for a cat.
