This forum is not a free for all. There are rules. If you have questions on the rules, please PM me with your question.
All posts are subject to the approval of staff. Very few posts require editing.
But some do.
Those that have merit and add to the discussion, but have parts that are deemed inappropriate, will be edited.
Those that have no value and are inappropriate, will be delted.
If you feel your post has been altered to change its meaning or content, then you have the right to edit or remove it.
NOTE: All members have ultimate control over their posts. Each member can delete or modify their own posts. The menu bottons to do so are located on each of your posts.
EDITED: the question has come up recently about deleting thread starting posts. This is discouraged, and if repeated will lead to a 2 day suspension. If you have second thoughts about a thread- delete it right away or contact a moderator. Deleting opening posts after a bunch of responses, throws off the continuity of the whole thread. If you want to MODIFY your opening post- thats the way to go. If you have a question on WHY a post was deleted or modified, contact via PM the staff person listed. Do not post about it on the forum.

Forum Mission Statement- PLEASE READ! « Result #2 on Jul 1, 2006, 8:54am »
This forum was founded for one simple purpose- to give trappers a place to exchange trapping information and stories.
Many experienced trappers were unhappy with the type of attitude and the respect they got on other forums.
Many experienced trappers were also tired of posting about their methods, only to be told that their methods were a) stupid b) not ethical c) unworkable.
This forum was started with the #1 rule- that if you don't know, don't say you do- and to give respect to those that walk the walk.
Whether their methods agreed with you or not.
In that manner, we would be exposed to a little "out of the box" thinking, and it would make as all better trappers.
ChrisM summed it up in the NTA video- "if it works for you, you are doing it right".

If you have problems... « Result #5 on Jan 31, 2004, 11:55am »
If you are having login problems- either 1 of 2 things is happening. Either your password, for whatever reason is no longer correct...or you are getting logged out as soon as you log in.
1) Log in to the right of the Coyotes "R" Us logo where it says: " Welcome GUEST- LOGIN or REGISTER."
Click Login.
You will then be taken to the Login screen. Login, and then check the box marked "Always keep me logged on"
That should take care of your problem. If not-
2) go to help http://proboards8.com/help/ and see if the problem can be found. Most password and login problems are caused by the new anti-spam safeguards and by how your computer enables and uses cookies. Some servers are more sensitive than others. AOL for example.
3) if none of that works- email me at
trappnman@yahoo.com
Give me your username, and I'll go in and change your password so you can log in. You can then change your password back in Profiles.
I want everyone that wants to post and enjoy this forum to do so- so I'll work on your problem until solved- I just need to be aware of it.
